KiteLife
Hi folks, I've just finished our sign up page for the 2012 WCRC in Long Beach, WA... Scheduled for March 16-18. http://www.teamiquad...oast-rev-clinic To immediately put some minds at ease, the 16th (Friday) is a casual day with no workshop curriculum, just play and one-on-one coaching for those who can come for the extra day. You'll find detailed information about the schedule, local lodging and more at the link above. Please let me know if anything is unclear on the registration page, happy to clarify. KiteLife
Six signed up already... Max of 30 students, 24 slots left open.
bartman
I just read through the schedule and even though this is not something I can get to I'd encourage anyone who has the ability to attend to do so. It looks like it would be a great weekend to learn on so many levels. I'm jealous! Bart
kwmf
This may end up qualifying me for the 'most expensive Rev lessons' award ....
KiteLife
Do it... Do it... Do it... Do it... Do it... Do it... Do it!
Felix
This may end up qualifying me for the 'most expensive Rev lessons' award .... I 'signed up' for a 'how to get 100 Rev Fliers together in one place' "lesson" some time ago and so you have my sympathies! As JB puts it, 'go for it'. <grins> Felix
kwmf
No doubt JB has a nice SLE spar with my name on it waiting to 'educate' me:wacko: (and I'm sure Monkey has something to do with it)
KiteLife
Monkey only gets a turn when I need to take a break.
kwmf
BTW ... is it the 5th or the 6th WCRC??? Looking at last years posts that was apparently the 4th one and this is the 6th.... (This is probably the very reason theres an SLE with my name on it waiting for me over there)
KiteLife
HA! Right you are, I could have SWORN we did one in 2007... But hey, it all sort of fades once you hit 100 events in 5 years. WCRC I - http://www.kitelife....c08/content.php WCRC II - http://www.kitelife....c09/content.php WCRC III - http://www.kitelife....c10/content.php WCRC IV - http://www.kitelife....011/content.php Okay, I'm off to fix a number of forum postings and such - brb. Theresa
Ok....so it's been decided that this is the FIFTH Annual Rev Clinic at Long Beach?
KiteLife
Yep, the fifth... Remember, I did that 2006 weekend clinic in Long Beach, but was mostly dual line. FYI everyone - we've already had 9 sign ups in the past 20 or so hours... 21 slots left open, keep an eye on this or they might disappear. Windbag
Hi folks, I've just finished our sign up page for the 2012 WCRC in Long Beach, WA... Scheduled for March 16-18. John, I know I missed the one last March but I'm signed up for this one. Yes, I'm bringing my rain gear so I won't have to buy a new set like I did a few years ago. I'm looking forward to great pizza at Chico's for Saturday night.

kwmf
Theres a fair possibility I will attend this if I can nail down the logistics of it. Is there anyone who I can catch a ride with from Portland side through to Long Beach on either Thurs or Fri? (Flying in from another country I plan to be there for all 3 days)
Theresa
Theres a fair possibility I will attend this if I can nail down the logistics of it. Is there anyone who I can catch a ride with from Portland side through to Long Beach on either Thurs or Fri? (Flying in from another country I plan to be there for all 3 days) I'm thinking you should be here for at least a week. and I'm pretty sure the ride thing will fall into place. I know of a couple vehicles heading that way.
kwmf
Well if I can get a ride, then I should be good to go. You should have my email about your offer and what I'm trying to get done, if you have any further suggestions then let me know. I'm looking to get in on Thursday (or even Wed if it's easier on logistics) so I can get some decent sleep before the clinic - no point in spending 36 odd hours traveling there to learn stuff and being a zombie on the beach. Friday's informal day will give JB and the others time to evaluate where I'm at and provide any tuning to existing skills so that I'm all set to maximise my time during the official clinic.
