Lee
Ok so I meet up with Nick aka Reef Runner the first time and no wind so no flying. So the next day I go out by myself and got the in the air for a few seconds. Well guess what today was the perfect day wind blowing steady and me and Nick meet up and I had a blast. First hour was the noobie hour hitting the ground hard and then it happened a lot that he told me started clicking a I was in the air hovering and going from left to right and started landing inverted. Once I started to get the hang of landing better Nick decided to change out my LE from the SLE to my ultralight 3 wrap and that baby became a new kite. I can't tell you all how much fun I had. If Nckiter reads this sorry I couldn't meet you but there will be a next time. All in all I found my hobby and Thanks a bunch Nick. nckiter
Hello Lee and Nick, Glad to hear you got some wind today and found that the basics are not so hard. Now it's practice, practice, practice. Sorry I couldn't make it. Spent the day installing a new pump in the well here at the house. Thank goodness for a young strong son, sure made pulling that pump and pipe outta the ground a whole lot easier. Maybe next time. I'm scouting for some flying fields in the Louisburg area, maybe we can find a spot in the middle to meet up.

I couldn't carry enough "milk & cookies" to the flight deck, for that ! I'd have to leave all my kites and other stuff, back at the truck
