B-Series Pro & Zen Colorizer

The colorizer has definitely made things easier, and cheaper.

I created several hundred different color schemes myself using Adobe Illustrator.

Below is the one I chose for my Zen which I received last May.

I wanted to keep it nice, simple and attracting.

There is some one else, who has a mirrored version that has still not revealed themselves. I know who it is.

If you are bogging down on choosing colors like I was, you may find this helpful: Steve made up samples of all the icarex colors available and gave them to Theresa.  When I briefly had them in my hands, I took pics in different lights and put them in this thread.

Beautiful designs everyone! I almost hate to look at other people's designs for fear of seeing something I might want to copy (but won't). Other people's ideas are great for inspiration, though. Keep 'em coming!   :kid_content:

Is there a way to save my designs on the colorizer if I don't have photoshop or elements? I've tried to printscreen and nothing happens?kid_brooding.gif

I strongly recommend using evernote. It's free, evernote.com. It has a very easy clipping feature that you can use to quickly grab and save kite designs. They get saved on the evernote server, and you can paste them into whatever program you like later. That way you don't have to go back and forth between the colorizer, and prtscrn-copy into some other program. Tedious. I'm not meaning to do an infomercial here, but evernote is pretty cool. :matrix: The app is especially worthwhile.

Personally I use OneNote which comes with most versions of Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010. Then I use Photoshop, Fireworks and etc, to continue.

Of course this is not reasonable or affordable by most unless you are working in the branch like me.

Another alternative is to use the Snipping Tool feature of most later versions of Windows. It seems that not that many know about it.
