johnnmitchell
There are a number of odd ball quadline kites that do not even resemble a REV. This is a link to a big foot that I saw at the Cervia International Kite Festival 2004 in Italy. http://home.arcor.de/johnnmitchell_Cervia2...sm_DSC_2985.JPG More photos of some very interesting kites at that festival can be seen at: http://home.arcor.de/johnnmitchell_Cervia2...ervia_2004.html Enjoy

johnnmitchell
This is another odd quad kite made by Anke Sauer of Germany. The kite is flat though it appears not to be flat. http://home.arcor.de/jnmitchell/3-Photogra...DSC_8966_sm.jpg

Stephen Hoath
man all of those are great i like thw danceing quad the best The "Dancers" is an enchanting kite to fly. Not all unusual quads fly that well, but Kisa seems to have a knack for getting it just right. This kite slides very gracefull too and with a full turn you can literaly waltz this kite around the sky. I did want to get a team set but I was outvoted. Also look out for the "Shopping Trolley" by the same artist. It has velcro patches in the trolley so you can even change the shopping! I think there is a great team ballet there as well but only one kite exists so far. mmmm. now what music would you use?
Morrunya
At WSIKF last yeat, I saw a guy flying a four line pig! I also saw the little oinker for sale at one of the kite shops there. I didn't even concider buying it though (I'd rather have a Rev collection first)

I also have photos of the original pig before it went into production back around 2000/2001. There is a dog, a man, a sword and all kinds strange quad liners in my photo archives over the years. For those also interested in single line kites, look at my photos from Cervia in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Many of these kites designs have never been seen in the USA. e.g. There is a flying bicycle made from straws that really peddles. Anna Ruben makes kites from all kinds of natural materials such as weed she finds in fields.

SKITCH
John M. Did you ever find the pics of the shopping cart quad? I ran across it the other day....shucks...I should have saved it. It looked like another Kisa kite. She does some really nice and interesting stuff....clown, dancing couple, shopping cart etc. I wish she could make it to one of our festivals over here. Thanks for sharing these interesting kites. P

The dancing couple was a quad. Then there is the Sky Walker which was a single line. http://home.arcor.de/johnnmitchell_Cervia2...sm_DSC_3000.JPG
