Baloo
Blast, and I was going to bring my Zen so you could all have a go with it. Just though, forgot to add the line "At least I would have done if I had one" Looks like full vent and doubled up leading edge, never thought I would wish I had a SLE!! sailor99
Well Saturday is looking a bit better wind wise now. It's even quite good weather if one were a duck. Sunday looks really great, apart from the threat of snow. Sod the weather; I'm not going to let that stop me. Only one more donning of the slumber-wear. An early start on Saturday may be a very good idea... <grins> Let's get as much as possible done as soon as is possible! /<grins> Felix

clare
If anyone is considering attending tomorrow then I can highly recommend it! Bri and Dave plus there lovely wives went to a huge amount of trouble today to ensure everyone was happy and fully catered for. Homemade pumpkin soup was a lovely suprise - totally delicious. Being novices me and my OH were struggling with the wind strength today, but tomorrow is forecast to be a little lighter. It did rain for a lot of the afternoon but not one person gave up flying due to this - much less rain forecast for tom! (0.3mm/3hr tom rather than the forecast 3.5mm/hr today!) Pictures are uploading right now but be warned they are very amateur!
Vince
What a great day - well worth the travel. Fantastic reception and facilities, great flying met lots of new friends and learned a lot. Yes we had rain and high winds, but it didn't spoil a thing and with over 30 fliers and 25 taking part in the mega fly it was grins all round. Well done Bri and team I hope you have fair winds and good flying tomorrow.
