I want to thank Scottie and Darren Weider for their awesome job on our logo.

Although they won't be at the festival this year there is no doubt that through their beautiful work of art they will be with us.

I will let Scottie tell you the details and history of the logo.

Two weeks from now I'll be at TI winding down from my first afternoon's flying.

I can't wait!!!!

-Alden

Laura, Al and I were out freezing our butts off today at Liberty and while winding it up for the day were laughing and having that exact conversation. Steve, Jojo and Sammy, on the other hand were just freezing their butts off!

Really looking forward to the beach and the apres flying festivities!!!! :big_beer::big_band::big_beer:

I live on the other coast of Fla. from TI but it's the same latitude, about 3 hours due east, so the temps are about the same most of the time. Today was a bit cool for me(60s) but yesterday I flew on the beach in shorts. Lets all hope it holds out for another few weeks. Bring your bathing suit and sun screen. You may need them. I wonder if the hotel pool is heated? Last year a bunch of folks were flying at night too.

Some warm flying will suit me just fine. Meeting up with everyone is going to be a blast! 8.gif

I will be bringing some lights for a night fly. Perhaps, not this cool: 6.gif

If you are going to let Laura fly with your lights make sure they are bounce proof! I've seen her in action at a night fly.

The beach thankfully will be much more forgiving than the parking lot Laura used as a test pad for the lights that night. Think those lights have been aptly renamed "Crash Test Dummies"!

That was sooooooo funny!!!!!!!5.gif5.gif5.gif

I do prefer to think of it as the big "smack down" it smacked so hard and was so loud when the light housing exploded. The light still works! roflmao!!!!!!!!!!

If I would have thought about things just a bit, I would have clipped the lights to the side of the LE instead of on it. Problem solved. Then again, it wouldn't have been that funny. ;):P

Waaaah! The rev mega fly is about when I have to pack up to head to the airport on Sunday. We'll have to do some impromptu mega flies prior to that.
