  2. Hi Scott,hi Mel, im sure ther is some medium/media.The Bod[man]from the BBC said it will be on BBCs I Player.Maybe a link can do the trick once the program has been broadcast. Im not that PC,with the I Player and stuff, but i will try once the program has been broadcast. Have a goodn pal,see ya Mel BRIAN...
  3. Hey safe trip Ben, On a positive note, if anyone gets to catch this weekends Country File on the BBC this Sunday Morning [i think its Sunday].They will find a full eight minutes of kites, pilots, builders and flying.Myself and pals in TEAM4MATION had been asked along with some other great kite folk, if we would do a slot for the BBCs Country File Show.We had a ball at the Wirral International Kite Festival and many have said since we wher the stars of the show.Personally,i think kite flying was the star. The general public in ther Thousands LUV our Routine and the mass of kites on display, made up from people from all around the globe. Unlike Scotts Gutsy experience [bravo Scott btw, that musta taken Big Ballzz mate],We had an under the spotlight experience with a sweet 10mph wind and all the time in the world to practice beforehand sorta helped us and not being solo is a big big plus.Along with Luving what you do,flying with a BDG,just being with ya pals, who Nailed the routine to a huge round of applause.Which also helps fire the confidence.Hope we get some Rev coverage on the TV and promote our sport.Good bad or indiferent,it takes Guts to get up and Just doit. BRIAN...
  4. Anyone whos a serious kite /Rev pilot needs a Zen in ther bag.I know the kites been out now for a while and its probably old News to some, but im so amazed in the kites drive and precission in next to zero winds,,,,,,,Jaw Dropping. From a team point of view also.Ther a must .I can think of quite a few places weve visited and been unable or struggled to give a good display because of the low windAll because we lacked a real low wind monster in our kit.The zen will give that edge without a doubt..... BRIAN...
  5. Hi my freinds.Hope youve all missed me.Its been Work, work, work thats has been the main agenda and its going well.JB would be proud of me......enough about that nasty four letter word for now[work] and on the good stuff OK,Picture the scene Miles of sandy beech, sunny, sea like a millpond and way out,.Ainsdale for those that know it.A real Stunning day forecast,,,,,BUT,,,,,NO WIND 1mph gusting to three[at best]if ya lucky. Great chance to comapre the four kites mentioned in the Topic Title.Im handy on a Rev,im no JB or SH,so for what its worth. Here is my 10ps worth. Ive had my Zen for months and havent had her up yet,so i cant wait to see if the hype,Opinions, tests and whatever i had read was correct. Not that a combination of some of the best pilots, designers and materials on the planet are realy at question, but i had to see for myself.Im a bit like like. Set ups Zen with Zen rods on 120s LPG 90lb Printed 1.5 with race frame on same lines B Series custom std with Race frame ,on same lines And the kite i thought the Zen couldnt be much better than,IF AT ALL.A kite i adore to fly and has given me so many BDGs.The Lee Sedgwick with a race frame and 3 wrap frame. On same lines. Im not gona give a run down or running order.Which was first or last. These are four Top Notch. The Dogs Bo*****s kites and please,so thers no GREY AREA. THE ZEN IS BREATHTAKING..... Comparrison, ther isnt any,the ZEN WINS HANDS DOWN in the conditions mentioned above. Its simply unbeleivable and an absolute treat to fly.I couldnt put it down. The lads with me got a spin and all had the WAW effect with it. Thanks to everyone involved for making such an awsome flying Machine.Simply im stunned at the performance,,,,,Bravo No Grey Ther Then i think BRIAN...with a Bigger,BDG
  6. Thanks again all,im proper chuffed[ HAPPY ] Being outa work isnt me at all.Ive had a nice break, but needed to focus on finding the job i wanted.Rather than any old job.The Companys a good one.My MD is a nice fella and the guys and Girls im going to work with are real people from what ive seen. Not clones of eachother.Which you can sorta find in my industry. Thanks for all the best wishes, its realy kewl of ya all, cheers BRIAN...
  7. Cheers all, JB,I have my notes[rough ones].Mainly bullet points and prompts.I did learn and practice at home on the wife and kids. The master copys i had to submit. The daughter has my flip chart[3ft by 3ft]which i didnt require in the end,but preped anyways.Everything was hard copy from research,my notes and info. They also had tobe submitted.Wiki was usefull, facebook and here for the info main body.Along with personal info about your qualitys.Which i already had of your good self.Which are obvious to all. I would add.I wouldnt put someone forward for anything unless i was 100% sure they wouldnt leave me with egg on my face.Ive fell foul before. With John i was 100% sure. Monks, the best part is John did actually fit the job perfectly,he starts in two weeks.Gets a nice car choice to,25days holiday, plus bank holidays,no weekends, fuel card and exspenses card, lap top,and phone all paid for and supplied,Ho and they pay ya aswell...... Bob,i think your correct. The countrys on the up.Congrats to your daughter also.I know we had spoke about her before,so thats fab news my freind. Antman,i agree with the lifestyle and quality of life for the kids.Well worth the effort and perhaps giving up some personal things to acheive the result is what Marridge and kids is about,,,,a balance Thanks all for your well wishes, its a real releif to snag the job i wanted.Rather than just any old job.John realy was a great subject.Intresting, diffrent from the norm, weird how well he fitted all my new employers values and needs.Im sure it made a diffrence to me getting the job PASSION,,,,,,thats what the feedback was, they felt i had passion.Along with other stuff.A trate i sare with Jb and many here Cheers BRIAN...
  8. Thanks everyone, its a releif to be employed again. Like Tom mentions ,its kewl the part Revs have played in snaging me the Job.Im so glad JB chose kites and not pole dancing .I may have struggled with that as a presentation. BRIAN...
  9. We shall see how the first few months go i think first, but i realy hope to take a week in August,so lets see. Kite Party i missed so much this year.Realy wana get over for that also. Thanks Dave, have a good weekend. BRIAN...
  10. Some know ive been outa work for a while.Been a little unlucky with a few new positions ive chased and been pipped at the post. A Job i realy did wana get came up about a month ago and i went for it Big Style. After some previous dissapointment with the others.I didnt wana leave anything to chance. After three interviews ,i was still in the running as the huge pack of applicants thinned.I recieved a breif from the Company for a full days assesment.Covering everything from Buisness plans,Numerical tests, sales.Ther was ten remaining applicants at this stage. All realy nice people and all i thought could fill the position open that i wanted. The last section asked to select a person to fill the very job i had applied for and was wanting so much. The person could be ... [alive, dead, fictional]I had to explain why i selected that person.Explain what qualitys they had and then do a full presentation on that person fitting them to the position. All this Infront of the Company hirers and firers[if y like] I chose JB as my subject.I did consider myself,Stphen Hoath,Joe H,God,Churhill,John Wayne,The Wife,My dad,Felix Motram, even forest Gump.I finally decided on John and im glad to say. Yesterday I recieved we are pleased to offer the position of,,,,,,,,,,yehhhhhhhh baby, jobs a goodn So a big thanks to John for being such a great subject.Im sure my Informative, whitty, and well reaserched presentation made the diffrence.Along with my dashing good looks and Charisma...lol Jobs a good, Ta JB BRIAN...
  11. Im useless at Arty stuff, but i have to say Aerochic sent me some realy kewl images done by herself. Some of the angles used of the kites realy did capture thought and the imagination. They take pride of place on my Den wall and people ask on a regular basis about them. Nice idea Ben,good luck all BRIAN...
  12. Well, ive been AWOL a bit IM BACK Thanks fellas for the kind words, its very nice of ya all.The winds wher what they wher,,,,mental at times. The lads did a grand job.Had loadsa people wanting to try and fly a Rev .Even a POLICEMAN we managed to get in on the area act.He was a real star. The Trophy stuff was a real LUVLY suprise. We had the BDG without it.The Trophy just made it into a MBDG. Good to see The North East lads up and flying nice.Sorry we didnt get around to flying withya again.Time at Festivals just whizzzzzes past. 15. Finally decided with the money ive saved from stopping smoking.Ive purchased a brand New Microwave Bed. Im not a big Tech fan,but eight hours sleep in fourty mins has tobe a great investment for many reasons. The beds have been available for a while and have various settings and time saving programs.I was also pleasantly suprised how comfy it is,easy to setup, and enviro freindly. Tried yesterday on 3/4 setting.Which was six hours sleep in just thirty minutes.Realy was amazing. The cost is quite high atm for purchase. As all new tech is,but so far.Im snug as a bug. BRAVO Slumberland BRIAN...
  16. Hi and welcome. I soppose it also depends on what kites your carrying and what you intend going doing. Then thers the wind and weather to take into account. I usually have a wide mix for all occassions.Usually end up useing the same 120ft x 90lb for all my flying these days.Team is what i usually do or just solo flying. BRIAN...
