Is it time to update the forum header showing the evolution of Revolution Kites, showing the models and year of inception beyond 2010?

In addition, I would like to view the entire line-up of current production models somewhere, including descriptions and specifications. Is that something that is in progress?

Forum Registration problem

I am contact with a new Rev flyer who has been trying to register but keeps getting an error, below is a copy of what he sent to me.

Anyone got any ideas ?

I have noticed that over the last year or so that the quantity of new posts

has declined significantly, is everybody using other forms of social media!

Come on everybody lets use it or lose it.

Last w/e a few of us at my home field met a newbie and we suggested he join the forum. I was going to PM him, with links to threads that would help explain some of the advice we gave him.

Does this forum have a function that will mark all messages in all forums as if I've read them? If I does, I haven't been able to find it.

Has anybody noticed that when a PM is sent that the recipient does not always get an

email notification although it is enabled ?

It would seem that this has been happening since the last server upgrade, I sent four last month

and recieved one reply today which was with an eMail notification !

I was about to post up some new pictures to my Gallery, but it appears that I am already over my limit and can not post any more. I have a couple new Masterpiece Rev's and would hate to have to delete a ton of my others....

Can we increase the amount of space please? I also went through and tried to see if some of the images are just to large and need to be downsized....it says I am using over 500M which seems a bit absurd. If I have some images that are too large, please let me know which ones or how I can view the file sizes and I will try to see if I can reduce them down.

How odd, I was going to ask, have we lost "Preview Post" since the system upgrade, but posting this I see it is sitting at the bottom of this screen next to "Post New Topic", however it didn't seem to be an option when I was posting into an existing thread?

View new content not working

The last few weeks the "view new content" link on the upper right of the forum has not been functioning. It always tells me there is no new postings? However when I manually look thru the forums I see a bunch of new posts since my last visit?

Anyone else seeing this issue?

Is anybody else having issues getting access to the forum (and Kitelife as well) using Tapatalk on an iPhone 4? I have deleted and reinstalled but still no joy. Usually there is an update for the app when this happens but I've checked and there isn't one.

Ok, I joined Facebook because everyone seems to be using it as a place to post interesting pics and stuff!! I've heard several times of people having problems posting pics. Just trying to find out if this is a wide spread problem? even pics i already have on here wont repost, I checked that to see if it was a file size problem.

Also I've heard people say they make pics smaller, any hints on how this is done would be appreciated.

Starting a new topic?

Hello everyone,

Before I ask my question, I'd just like to say that I really enjoy this forum! There are some amazing folks flying kites around the world!

The Revolution Forum is the first forum I've ever joined. Its actually only the second forum I've ever bothered to even take a look at! The other one was a video game forum - wow, what a nightmare that place was.

So, I'm relatively new to this online community stuff..... Thanks for bearing with me.

It seems like everything regarding the Rev has a topic already posted about it!!

So my question is: Is it better to start up a new topic, or to add posts to an older topic?

It seems like starting a new topic has the advantage, as it will be added to the "Recently Added Topics" panel where it will stay till 5 more new topics are added. That way more people will likely see it, and more people will likely reply to it.

However, when there is a topic out there that already has a ton of good info in it, it seems like I should just add to it. I guess I could always link to it.....

What do you think? Start a new topic, or add posts to an older one?

Profile Changes Help Please

When I recently joined the Rev forum I hastly added info by filling in blanks, my user name HYZAKITE was too big and I've tried for 2 days to changes it to Hyzakite with no luck in finding the right place to change it. Is it possible for me to change it?

Also in Profile/Change Profile Information i did try Change Avatar and it worked, however above Change Avatar is Change Photo I tried Change Photo but it doesn't work for me though it uses the same steps as Change Avatar, is it me or the system that this feature isn't working?

One more question, When I view my profile I can see my first and last name, is this something that I only see as view others profiles I do not see first and last names?

How do I edit photo captions in Gallery?

I misspelled a word in a caption in my photo gallery. I can't find where to edit individual photo captions.

I can edit the album name and caption, but not the individual photo captions.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
