Hampshire Flying sites

Hi all where do all the Rev flyers in Hampshire gather, is there anywhere in particular? Personally i like Wittering beach(just in W. Sussex i know) but i dont see many Revs there, or perhaps i am there at wrong times.

Any Rev flyers in Poole area?

I am planning to be in Poole, UK for a few days in May 2012 and wondered if there were any Rev flyers in the Pool / Sandbanks area, and where and when they fly?

Anybody care to share where they fly in the UK? I have only ever met 3 other rev flyers in the UK (hi brian, dave and claire ) and that was at ainsdale beach (near southport). Ainsdale beach is the best place to fly that I know of because it has consistent wind and a huge clean beach, there are also alot of kite surfers their so there is plenty to sit and watch when you want a break from flying yourself.

So has anybody else got any great flying sites.......?

A rev (or two) in central London?

I've lurked on the forums long enough . . . now I have a reason to post. I'm looking for some advice on places to fly my Rev in or near London. I'll have the afternoon of Sunday 8 May available for some flying time after I arrive at Heathrow in the morning, and possibly an evening after work (although the pub will beckon loudly, I'm sure). I won't have a car, so I'm probably limited to tube/bus/rail distance from the City. My client is located near Liverpool Street station, and I will probably stay at a hotel within reasonable walking/tube/bus distance from their offices. A quick look at the member map turned up Blackheath and Hampton Court. And . . . judging by the blog entries . . . Felix and the Decorators seem to turn up at Blackheath frequently on Sundays. Any additional advice and location suggestions welcome. Full disclosure - I've been flying revs for maybe 6 months now, so my flying skills are somewhere near "rubbish." I've found IKE here in Illinois and have practiced a bit with them (which is the reason I'm just near rubbish, not total rubbish). Thanks.

Where is the South Wales kite scene, nowadays, there used to be a lot going on on Cowbridge Common, near Cardiff. I live in Barry. fly two line and Revs.

Are there any Rev fliers that fly at Arbroath, I am spending a week there in september and it would be nice to meet up with someone.

Somewhere not too far away would be ok as well.

Just back from giving my Rev it's maiden flight.

Thanks go out to Jonesy,Hippy Chippy and Pete for their help and advice.I'm still smiling guys and want to fly again NOW !!

This Rev flying lark is as addictive as I thought it would be - fun,fun,fun (till daddy took the t-bird away) ....sorry Beach Boys reference crept in there !

Looking forward to the next time and thanks again guys(and for having the patience with my son Alfie as well,he is still talking about it )

Pembrey beach?

Hi folks, I am potentially spending a week near Pembrey in Waels Wales towards the end of October.

Wondered if anyone had flown there and if it was a good spot.

If it is rubbish I will leave the kites at home, NOT.

Bristol KITE festival on BBC1

Just been on the TV.Blue Peter[children program]had been covering Bristol festival this year.Spotted loads of the guys AND MYSELF , flying revs.Program is on as we speak.
