Congratulations on your new kites, I'm sure you will be very pleased with your purchase.
  2. Rev Reflex (Video and First Impressions)

I think your a good pilot, much better than novice or intermediate. Thanks for the video.
  3. Club 38

Hello, I'm also interested in learning more about Club 38. I have basic/intermediate knowledge on how to fly, but what if I get to a spot or level I just can't complete, will someone be around to teach you the levels you have no shot at learning on your own? I would also like to know what is the moves or lessons that I'm going to learn to take my flying to pro level. I understand line management, setting up to fly, wind window, wind speed, take off, hover, dive stop, bicycles, and some reverse flight skills. I have trouble with over-steer, and the more advanced moves like, body mechanics, axel, float, and kite control More information on Club 38 is needed.
  4. Buying a SUL

I was wondering what is the weight or pounds of the bridle line on the SUL (white bridle) ???

  8. New York Minute Is Alive

I just got myself a NYM (standard), and I know I may be in the back of the bus, but better late than never. I got the Green Race Rods, and the 3 wrap rods with the kite, and my main question is how much flex or bow can the Green Race Rods take? I fly my Revolution B Series with Black Race Rods in about the same wind, and don't get the flex or bow I get from the Green Race Rods, and was wondering if the flex or bow of the kite effects its flight ability, and how much is a bad thing. When should I be switching to a stiffer rod in higher wind or is there a learning curve to the Green Race Rods, maybe I should be using more brake?
  9. Supersonic strut placement

Can anyone provide photos of the proper way to set up a Supersonic? Also will the Supersonic ever get updated, or a new pattern, I have the black one with one red panel, would like to see more color options in the Supersonic.
  10. Buying a SUL

I would like to try the Diamond rods, are they a special order item, as cant find them online. How much is a full set of Diamond rods for the 1.5 SUL ?
  11. Buying a SUL

Are the Diamond frames the same as the Zen Frame? What about the Green Race frame for light wind flying? I have no idea where to find a French Bridle, or how to install it, maybe I should just be content that I can fly, and not get to technical..
  12. Buying a SUL

Nice information, but I must admit you lost me at French Bridle, and Magic Sticks. I'm not sure if I want to add weight to a ultra light. I have heard of pilots using 2 wrap, and 3 wrap frames in light wind, and it makes my brain melt. I have a Revolution 1.5, and Revolution B Series, and trying to find some low wind fun, I still have a lot to learn.
  13. Buying a SUL

I'm interested in the all white Ghost SUL from TKC I was wondering the wind range, what lines should be used, what wrap of spars are best, and handle length to get the most out of the kite. Should I go with the SUL or get the standard sail also available from TKC Looking to fly in low wind, but I don't want to blow the kite apart, or break the bridle in higher wind, and looking for the limits of the SUL. Thanks
